
Camping Basics
Want to experience the beauty of nature by fully immersing yourself into it but don't know where to start?
In this one day class you'll learn the basics of camping so you can be prepared for anything from staying in a tent next to your car at an official campground to hiking into the backcountry to make camp far away from any amenities or other humans.

Choosing a good campsite

Fire making & maintaining

Food selection & cooking

How to pack

How to hang a bear bag

How to go to the bathroom in the woods

Precautions to take & how to get rescued in case of an emergency
After this class you are welcome to stay the night camping in the woods at the school. This class will start at 10am and end at around 5pm. It costs $100, $20 is paid up front as a deposit and the remainder of the balance is required at arrival in cash or check.
